Callalisa Creek Vistas is an ideal location to utilize historic Florida vernacular designs.  Before the advent of air-conditioning, Florida homes were designed to utilize the arch of the sun and characteristics of the property to keep their occupants comfortable.  Covered porches and deep overhangs block the sun and allow windows to remain open even when it rains.  Metal roofs reflect the suns rays while high ceilings and clerestory windows vent heat as it rises.  Raised foundations and breezeways allow heat to be removed from the structure with a breeze.
