Wiese Residence

Gary and Jane Wiese were new empty-nesters when they approached us about building a new home. Their intent was to downsize, but I think they ended up building a larger home than they initially thought they wanted. Commenting about their new "smaller" home was an inside joke that persisted during the project.

The Wieses new home featured a large eat-in family kitchen without a traditional formal dining room. The second floor has two guest suites for when the kids and their families visit.

Gary finally got his dedicated dedicated work shop off the garage that includes AC and a sawdust removal system. Above the garage is a large home theater that features two levels of stepdown seating, a large projector screen and two built-in sub-woofers.

Take note of the tile detail in the Master bathroom. River rocks are arranged to look like water is spilling out of the tub and running across the floor into the shower.
